When she is in a pensive state or listening, something she does singularly well, Hillary Clinton occasionally rests her chin on her hand. It is exceptionally fetching, as I am sure you will agree.

@U.S. Senate: Time to ratify LOST!
"... ratify the Law of the Sea Convention, which has provided the international framework for exploring these new opportunities in the Arctic. We abide by the international law that undergirds the convention, but we think the United States should be a member, because the convention sets down the rules of the road that protect freedom of navigation, provide maritime security, serve the interests of every nation that relies on sea lanes for commerce and trade, and also sets the framework for exploration for the natural resources that may be present in the Arctic." -HRC, 06-03-12, Tromso Norway

Lovely! Might you have a larger version of #4 and 7?

No those are the only sizes I have. Some of them I have had for so long, I don’t remember where I found them. It was before I started going to Daylife regularly.
#4 was when she was on the Armed Services Committee and Petraeus was going to testify that day. She is exquisite in that one. It blew me away the first time I saw it.

#4 and #12 are very nice. #14 is just really funny. She is nothing if not entertaining.

Great suggestions for the next time I am bored – like over this weekend! – AFTER I take down the winter drapes and put up the summer curtains etc.

Awww – that’s so cute. On This Week they’re saying America needs a Daddy. I think she’s a nice Mommy.

One of my friends and I were discussing politics and we determined that Hillary and Bill Clinton are the Sometimes Irritating, Possibly Annoying, Occasionally Embarrassing Mom and Dad of the Democratic Party for those 35 and under.
Kind of bittersweet since she had mentioned trying for another child or adopting while her husband was in office.

It took me all this time to find the article I wanted to quote.
“TIME: You’ve had trouble having kids. Have you ever considered adoption?
Mrs. Clinton: Well, we have talked about it. I must say we’re hoping that we have another child.
TIME: Are you still hoping you’ll have a second child?
Mrs. Clinton: (Laughing) I have to tell you I would be surprised but not disappointed. My friends would be appalled, I’m sure. But I think it would be terrific.”

This article is from June 1996. Wouldn’t she have been in her fifties by then? 😕

I SO REMEMBER that! Thanks for finding it! It tears my heart out. If she really wanted another child, I wish she had had one. I think she did, but I also think she has a NATION of surrogate kids who see her and Bill as representative of their parents. Folks like you!
For me? My parents are gone. Dorothy Rodham is so like my mom. So, even though she doesn’t know it, Dorothy has another daughter.

Slightly O/T, but whatever. TIME magazine is just rude. I was under the impression that a couple’s fertility issues were theirs to address. You don’t just say “Hey, you can’t have kids, right?” Manners, people!
I think she did want another baby quite badly but, when you think about what we know of her life between Chelsea’s birth and leaving the White House – and we certainly don’t know the half of it, I’m sure – maybe it was better that she didn’t. Still, I’m sure it didn’t make sitting in that room full of pregnant women any easier on her. (I think that picture was taken around the same time the article was written.)

OK! Gives them to power to ground and to give “time-outs!” I like it!

Well, it was neither TIME’s business nor the nation’s. She may well have been past it at that point. She was 50 when that was published. Her body is her business. She had no obligation to answer questions that personal.
