This just turned up, and since I cannot get enough of that green gown, I thought I would share it with others who heart this dress.

"... ratify the Law of the Sea Convention, which has provided the international framework for exploring these new opportunities in the Arctic. We abide by the international law that undergirds the convention, but we think the United States should be a member, because the convention sets down the rules of the road that protect freedom of navigation, provide maritime security, serve the interests of every nation that relies on sea lanes for commerce and trade, and also sets the framework for exploration for the natural resources that may be present in the Arctic." -HRC, 06-03-12, Tromso Norway

We definitely need to see Hillary in this dress more often! It´ll take some time till I find her regular pantsuits for wonderful again, after those gowns that Hillary wore for Chelsea´s wedding. They were so DIVINE. ♥
There is also a very nice article about the wedding. My favorite parts:
“Bill Clinton, with an adoring look on his face, danced with his daughter to “The Way You Look Tonight.””
“Later the Clinton parents danced together, with no fanfare and little attention, looking as ecstatic as they did at the 1993 inauguration. And yes, they also did the hora, which put Bill and Hillary up in the chairs; A former president and the current secretary of state beaming as they balanced precariously in chairs hoisted above the dancing crowd.”
The rest you can find here

Because their votes count more. 😉
This is a wonderful article! The Bill and Hillary being carried in chairs is my fantasy for how we bring Hillary into the Oval Office – carrying her in Teddy Roosevelt’s chair.

I can imagine many things, but “the hora” and Hillary in the same sentence, not so much! But on the other hand, it was the wedding of her little girl, so maybe…okay, it can be true. 😉

Well, she did study dance! The hora is not a hard dance. I bet she looked adorable!

Yes, I know that Hillary is a superwoman and she can handle many things. I think it´s more about a fact that we usually see her in different situations in which those “HBT” activities aren´t involved. It´s more about a habit than her abilities. It´s sure thing that Hillary was cute and divine 😉

It sounds like they had fun. Good. Even though it means I won’t see anyone more pictures, I’m glad they took away cell phone and cameras if it meant the Clintons could enjoy the night in relative peace.

I agree. Sounds like it was just a little bit a celebration of Bill & Hillary, too! What with the chairs and all!

I loved that dress the moment I saw it. I was surprised I guess. I wasn’t expecting any photos from that evening and then when the first one was posted I was wowed. I absolutely love her choice here.
