Hi all,
Posting on the fly here this morning. No schedule for the day so far, but there are a few pictures I thought I would share. One is of her arrival in Uzbekistan with FM Norov and the others are in Kyrgyzstan with President Roza Otunbayeva. More later as news develops, and as I have time.
That first picture is lovely. She looks so young!

She should keep her hair at about that length. It’s a very flattering style.
And I for one must applaud the continued emergence of women at large upon the world’s stage.

Hi, everyone! This is such a nice article about The Champ, and it relates to your earlier post below, Still, about Hillary being with the “Dissed”:

Yes, our girl is flying above the storm, doing a great job in Central Asia, and looking beautiful.
Now, on the domestic front, what exactly did that
meetingWar Council between The Sharks and The Jets accomplish? And HILLARY should resign? LOL!LikeLike
A lot of talk, based on what I’ve read and heard. There was praise about the “tone”, but no real agreement has been reached, beyond “Cave in, now.”
Howard Fineman had a piece in Huffington Post where he pointed out that, basically, acting conciliatory to a group that’s out for blood is just going to make them even more aggressive.

It gets worse. While Senators were briefed on the Wikileaks and Diane Feinstein called it espionage and called for prosecution, Obama’s major statement today was about the Return of Lebron James to Cleveland!

Unfortunately, most Americans tend to have short attention/retention spans regarding things like this, a desire for instant gratification, and a tendency to be wowed by new things.
That’s why Hillary’s 35 years of experience making the same change that Obama could only dream of got tossed to the side. It also helps when there’s still a lot of sexism in the media (I’m looking at you, Chris Matthews).

I agree with what you said about the nation’s attention span.
There is also the issue of the tendency people have, when they find themselves in a difficult position, i.e. unemployed, in severe debt, ect…, to let their world-view shrink. Instead of being concerned with making life better for the whole world or the whole country, they are more likely to be concerned with making things better for the “good people” and each individual has their own idea of who is “good”.
