All of these were posted in a prior thread, but some readers might have missed them. I think they are worthy of a post of their own. The Secretary of State could not have looked more sublime. I never cease to be amazed that we have such a superbly accomplished stateswoman who looks like this!

3rd one is my new fav! she looks, young, radiant, healthy and HAPPY! she always looks so much happier when Bill is with her, and vice versa. I love that about them.
It also seems like the chinese minister is intruding on an intimate moment. it looks they are having a private toast at a private dinner, and he’s just a photo crasher. if we cropped him out, it would be an adorable photo of a husband and wife

Considering it was a state dinner for China, I think cropping out the Chinese Foreign Minister wouldn’t be the best idea, but I completely see your point. That’s my favorite picture, too. It does look like the Foreign Minister is interrupting something.

Beautiful! Thanks, Jessica! Hmmmm… even though she wasn’t supposed to be the center of attention (she mostly dodged the cameras at the first two dinners), the photographers’ lenses still found her.

It looks from the first like both she and Bill were trying to keep as low a profile as they could. Bill simply can’t blend in anywhere. A six foot tall talkative fellow with fluffy white hair and that … unique… voice stands out no matter where he is. She tends to have better luck hiding from the press, but they got a leaked/released copy of the seating chart, so they knew where to look. No disappearing for Hillary this time around.

HRC was beautiful and glowing as I stated before. I bet her Bill is so proud of her. Obama introduced her as his fantastic Secretary of State. Well done Madame Secretary.

They are doing better in that department than many in DC. I’m trying to find a good picture of Nancy Pelosi for a post I’m writing and Google is really letting me down. She has to have taken better pictures than the ones I’m finding.

I was checking the White House Flickr, but I guess I am very impatient. I want the pics up right away. Anyhow, this is a great picture! I would have expected the Bidens between the Clintons and the Carters. Maybe, finally, Hillary has forgiven Jimmy for putting the Marielitos in Fort Chaffee?

I’ve always found that the Clintons really admire the Carters, and that its the Carters who don’t like the Clintons. Don’t get me wrong, The Carters are AMAZING Humanitarians and have probably done more good for the world than anyone on the earth so far, but when I’ve seen their interviews they seem so cold and distant, particularly Mrs. Carter. They really seem to resent the Clintons, but Bill and Hillary couldn’t be more respectful to them.

There’s been bad blood between them since 1980. Hillary worked for Carter at one point, and in 1980 when Carter accepted the Marielitos, Hillary went to CArter and begged him not to put them at Fort Chaffee since Bill was running for a 2nd term as governor and the people os Arkansas did not want the Marielitos there. She told Carter that Bill would lose the election if he placed them there. Carter put them at Ft. Chaffee anyway, and Bill lost the election. The two families have been distant ever since.

I know that there’s always been bad blood, but in public, the clintons are the bigger people and are very praising and respectful to the carters, while the carters show obvious animosity in public. its kind of disappointing

True. I know Hillary keeps her lists and charts, but now that you mention it, I don’t think I have ever seen her snub anybody in public. She is always gracious. Bill holds a grudge, though, witness his still deep-frozen relationship with Richardson.

oh he does for sure! he’s talked about his admiration for Carter. Richardson however…he’ll be on the end of Bill’s wrath forever. its so funny that Hillary is the one that lost, but she can let the Richardson thing go and he can’t! He’s still angry about it and will probably never let it go.

Well, even though she can stand up for herself, it’s cute that he protects and defends her. He knows what a lucky guy he is! She goes around the world talking about his good looks and his POTUS accomplishments. They’re adorable!

He’s never gone anywhere and talked about her good looks, though I think, if he ever decides to do so, there would be a fangirl-style squeal heard around the world (and she’d be sitting at home or in some hotel room on one of her trips blushing).

Maybe she has forbidden him to talk about her looks. You never know. Anyway, everybody else talks about her looks. It comes up in profiles and cover stories, and anyway, it’s obvious! She’s gorgeous!

He was able to comment on her dancing/shaking the Secretarial Assets in Kenya (“she should come and do that here” or something like that). He should be able to say she’s pretty if he thinks it bears mentioning.

Bill does hold grudges and he isn’t good at hiding it. He’s good with the Carters – they’re not so good with him though – but he as not good around people who’ve gone after Hillary.

In his book he said he was glad to be able to able to come to her defense then. He likes being her knight in shining armor and I don’t know (obviously!), but I suppose she might like it when he does.
