Great pic!! I went to the USS Makin Island’s home page and they have a slide show with many pics. Chelsea attended too. Apparently the guy in the middle (Chief Flores) was one of the chefs at the WH during the Clintons’ term there and he now works for the family.

that was taken for Vogue in the 98 issue that was pretty much entirely about how wonderfully she’d handled the Lewinsky scandal. That may be why she looks sad.

Those are some of my favorite pics too. I love the pic in Saudi Arabia where her reflection is seen on the shiny wall. I don’t know who did her hair that day, but it looked great with the soft curls. The pic of her with the low pony tail is lovely, she looks so pretty.
There’s so much being said in that pic of her and Biden. He’s been a very good friend to her. Remember the day when Ted Kennedy endorsed Obama? To add insult to injury, he chose to do it on the day of Bush’s last State of the Union. He knew that it was the one day of the year when both houses of Congress sit together and millions of people watch on TV. To me it seemed low, petty and an attempt to maximize the insult. Well, Hillary wore bright red that night and held her head high. I’ll always be greatful to Biden for sitting next to her at the SOTU and for making her laugh. Since Teddy already passed away, I’ll refrain from saying what I think of of him for what he did that day and months later when asked whether Obama should pick Hillary as VP (in response to a reporter’s question he said no, that Obama should choose someone with leadership skills, someone who would enoble America). This coming from a drunk womanizer who allowed a girl to drown to save his sorry ass!!!! Two weeks later he had a seizure and later on found out that he had brain cancer. Karma is a bitch…….

Mmmmm… Bea, I have been repressing a lot about Teddy, too. I had never heard or read that response you quoted, amazing. I thought Hillary and Bill were very gracious at his funeral.

I think they both really loved Teddy and were very hurt by the things he said about her, especially since Teddy really seemed to love them too until Obama came along. Falling out with someone who was a true friend is a lot harder and more painful than with someone who is just a political ally and I think thats what happened. I don’t think either of them will be good friends with any of the Kennedys again except maybe Vickie, who technically isn’t a Kennedy.

I think you’re right, and you can’t be good friends with people you can’t trust. But Bobby’s children all supported Hillary, and I think she is loyal to them. She refused to condemn Joe Kennedy’s relationship with Venezuela to provide heating oil for Americans who can’t afford it. What you may think of Chavez aside, it’s a good program, and I am glad she stood by it.

The Clintons have never been hot except for that one picture they posed for in People magazine before Bill became president. Goofy, silly, or cute on occasion, but never hot. All the hotness comes from our imaginations.
