I will be buying my keepsake copy of this! I read them online so that I do not mess up the glossies. Here you go!
Glamour Goes on the Road With Hillary
During a whirlwind tour of Africa, Secretary of State Clinton tells us about her dreams for women and girls—and what she’ll do next. (Get a little sleep, perhaps?)
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is dancing. Standing in a large tent in Lusaka, Zambia, surrounded by about 100 singing women, she starts to smile and clap and—yep, there it is—bop from side to side. She’s here to address members of the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP), which she cofounded last year to help small-business owners take their brands international. But whenever she tries to speak, the crowd breaks into song. And what you realize is that, in her sky blue jacket and black pants, her wheat-blond hair blown out in a flip, Madame Secretary’s got moves.
Yes! She’s got moves! Rock on, Mme. Secretary!
wow she is awesome! love the article! as always. empowering women. 🙂

Awwww… after all this time it’s hard to imagine her still feeling any insults. That’s the first time I think I’ve ever heard her even hint that her feelings still get hurt. She’s more sensitive than I imagined.

If the stuff people say and believe about her still does sting her, no wonder she wants to leave the public eye.

There’s so much WOW in this article, it’s hard to choose one or two passages to highlight. But since Hillary 2012 has grown more legs than a millipede this week, I will quote this:
“Sometimes a young girl will ask me, “What did you do to get to where you are?” And I say, “Well, you know, I never planned it.” If you had asked me 40 years ago, “Are you going to be married to a president? Are you going to be a senator from New York? Are you going to be a secretary of state?” I would have looked at you like you had two heads. You have to prepare yourself for whatever might come your way. And then you have to take a leap of faith, and see if it fits with who you are.”
Let’s hope and pray that Hillary takes that leap of faith!!!

This was part of her thoughts on politics.
She’s mentioned her own love of swimming in the past. “Beaches and speeches”, perhaps?

She’s a swimmer! Was a lifeguard (and is one now for the administration). I would not put a “beach” metaphor past her. YOU, my dear, are catching onto Clinton Code! Excellent! You get an A for that! Jen does too, for that nugget she found!

So, do you think she might feel like swimming? It’s awfully warm in DC right now. 😉

Remember what pool parties were like in high school? The guys who liked you would sort of wrestle with you and finally push you in? Well, there’s a guy who likes her so much he actually gets emotional talking about her. He also is the smartest guy in the class (she’s the smartest girl). He knows exactly what has happened and what will. The question now is does he want to push her in the pool, and will she let him? Drama! HS musical!

Yay, I get an A!!! 🙂
I am getting better at spotting Clinton code, but translating it is another story. These quotes are pretty straightforward, I think. But some of Bill’s speeches make my head swim (as long as we’re on that subject). I expect more coded messages within the next few days. With all the Hillary 2012 talk, there’s no way the media will leave her alone on this, but if she’s running or even just thinking about it she can’t say so. Not yet.

Actually, for what YOU found, you get an A+++!!! No, she can’t say, but you are doing a yeoman’s job of finding the articles! Excellent!!!!!!!

She won’t be left alone now that a few articles talking about her running have appeared and even if it’s on her mind, she won’t say. It was nice that this interviewer didn’t come right out and ask her if she was running again, but if she has any interviews I’ll bet that question is back in the script. I’m so anxious to hear Bill comment on all this “President Hillary” talk. He must just love it all.

I couldn’t help but smirk when she said she wanted to “rest up”. Maturity FAIL!

As they used to say on That Was The Week That Was (before your time) “rest” has become, for you, a “Smirk Word.”
