I watched Morning Joe this morning and the bestowed upon your girl the distintion of “Best Laugh in National Politics” because of her reaction to the tiki-torch-lioncloth-guy. There was a cute montage of Hillary Laughs as well. Also, the Secretary was interviewed on the next show talking about her upcoming visit to Burma -the first Secretary of State to do so in fifty years.

Yes, I saw that. Hard to believe – same network where the same laugh was called a “cackle” in 2008. What has changed? The way she laughs? Chuck Todd had a lot of nerve being in the same room with her. He was Mr. Statistically Impossible. Here he was like a puppy dog asking about his “new colleague.” Yes I saw it all, and I have a long memory and like HRC – I keep a chart.
That said – the montage was adorable – but I have always liked her laugh.

btw, joe scarborough is fair and respectful of hillary, even if he is a conservative. he gets high marks in my book for that. 🙂

Chuck Todd, who was VERY dismissive of her in 2008, interviewed her. His consciousness of the things he said and the way he laughed at her was palpable. He was like a puppy with its tail between its legs. When they put the transcript out I will post it. But it’s the video that you really want to see.
Joe has always been fair and nice to her. But then again she is his girlfriend. 😉

Oooohhhhh…. It still makes me want to slap him! He was so dismissive of her. So sure of himself. And nothing was ever “statistically impossible!” It was the RBC that had to hijack two states, and the other shoe fell in Denver when there was no public roll call vote. It was a travesty. (But that’s another can of worms.)

Yes, Joe has been the only one from the NBC group, as far as I know, who has been fair and nice to her. I can neither forgive nor forget that Philadelphia debate in 2008, try as I might.
That makes me really wonder what is behind this move of Chelsea to join the NBC group. Any one with any ideas?

I must’ve missed this debate. I hadn’t realized the mention of Chuck Todd would get you so worked up. I know I mention most of my prefered news sources at my own risk on this site, but I knew that Morning Joe was alright. I hadn’t realized that Chuck Todd was about as popular as Chrissy-Poo. Sorry for shaking things up.
