HRC must be absolutely thrilled to see what’s happening in Burma. I know I am. Burma’s story has always been on my mind, I am so excited at what’s going on their right now. It’s incredible. People there don’t believe it, they are incredulous, it really is amazing.
that being said, gd she looks gorgeous, it’s almost making me sick with jealousy. heaven help me.

I agree. It’s such a flattering look for her. So is being the first American Secretary of State to visit Burma in 50 years. Being first looks good on her, too.

I remember writing a letter on behalf of Aung San Suu Kyi at the U2 concert in 2005. Amnesty International had a booth set up there and Bono spoke about her during the performance. I am so touched that she was able to meet with Hillary.

It was an historic meeting that was destined! They even coordinated their outfits and hair! I don’t know HOW MANY petitions I signed for her over a long, long time! Glad to see her looking well and ready to run!

Still, I thought I was the only person to catch the coordinated outfits & hairstyle. LOL! Both women look beautiful and feminine, yet strong and powerful. That picture absolutely should be in a musuem somewhere.

this is extraordinary. Two female sHeros together. Oh To be a fly on THAT wall. Is there any doubt that Suu Kyi will be the first elected President of that country (ala Nelson Mandela)? Thus chalking up another country (other than the U.S.) that has it’s first female President…..
