That’s adorable. “Doesn’t get more closed press than that”, huh? Why? Is Bill visiting for a strategy session of one sort or another?

Happy Birthday, Mme. Secretary!
Hope she kicks up her heels and has a little fun. Heaven knows she’s earned it.
I also hope she’s aware that so many of her supporters remain loyal, and continue to draw inspiration and hope from her life and the example she sets. I don’t think that most of us Hillary supporters are “groupie” types, who gravitate toward public figures and hang on. I’ve always found it hard to actually find inspiration and motivation from the words and actions of other people. But, Hillary has walked the talk. She’ has lived through tough, challenging times – many of them, and has maintained the courage, spirit, and strength to keep on going – and very effectively so.
Recently, I’ve had a few additional challenges, and have found myself occasionally, hosting my own little pity party. When that article came out – with Hillary’s statement about “whining”, and doing the self work necessary to overcome and change things, it really hit home to me. I kicked my own ass, got up off my couch, put my laptop down, and went to work. Reading those words from anyone else would have made absolutely no difference in my life. But, knowing her and knowing the trials she has been through, her words had credence, and really motivated me.
So, Thanks, Hillary. Keep on going, and we’ll be right there with you.
