There was a hint, not long ago, that Hillary might stay on for a bit if Obama were reelected. Here is the possible scenario.
IF Obama is reelected (at this hour, it appears very certain) pulling Kerry from the Senate to DOS would leave his seat open. Warren may have beaten Scott Brown, but he remains very popular in MA and could run for Kerry’s open seat. He could win and shift the balance in the Senate. To avoid risking that probable outcome, the administration would need Hillary to mentor another SOS successor. This would take some time. So she just might stay on at DOS longer than any of us expected. *voice of Snoopy* “Sigh!”
Well this is interesting.
that makes sense wonder how kerry will feel

Bad. And I feel for him and for our girl. Just glad we don’t have her turning the reins over to Bolton!

That would be great. On the other hand, Obama could appoint Susan Rice.

I believe she would be the next trainee. But it will take some time.

Rice will have a hard time getting confirmed after the Benghazi Sunday talk show fiasco. I don’t think it was her fault– I doubt she was in the Situation Room that night and is only “guilty” of repeating what somebody told her to say. She may have even believed it, seeing as how dozens of people were killed in the anti-video demonstrations that took place elsewhere on that very same day.

I agree 100%!

Yeah, but the WH left her swinging in the wind. When they asked Hillary who had told Rice to repeat the video story in every network, she responded that they had to ask Rice. In other words, it wasn’t Hillary who sent her out with that story. IMO, it was probably the WH.

Probably Valerie Jarrett. It sounds like her. But it could have been someone from the CIA.

Sadly, most Americans have never even heard or seen her name. To me, she is The Spiderwoman. (Not in any good way.)
