MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell reported tonight that Secretary Clinton’s doctors have ordered no travel for her until mid-January earliest. Glad her doctors are being so firm with her and hope she is resting and mending.
Now I know readers out there are Hillary-hungry, so here is a news flash. You can see her in a portion of an NBC special tomorrow evening. She will be appearing with Chelsea in a recently recorded interview – as gorgeous and as proud of her daughter as can be. (It appears to me that this was recorded the same day as the Barbara Walters interview – you’ll see why.) So tune in or set your DVR!

Mme. Secretary, we have our eyes on you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Be well.
Madam Secretary, I did see Bill last night at our volunteer Holiday Gala. I was wonderful. A very big outing for me, especially with my new Bionic knee that does not yet agree with me on everything. We are doing very well but do have a ways to go yet. I did not stay after he spoke to ask him about you. I sure wanted to have a little conversation with him, but I could not stand the length of time it would have taken and I needed to find a table so I could set down while eating the wonderful treats provided for you. As always the Foundation Staff were just wonderful. They out do themselves each year. I don’t know if you are aware my son, Ryan is the youngest founding volunteer, I think. He was 14 when we had the grand opening. He volunteered with me the second night it was open which was Bill’s Class Reunion party. That was lots of fun.
You, my dear are in my prayers and on my mind. I know how hard it is to rest properly in a situation like this. But please rest as much as possible….
Later… Jane Gray Todd
