Here is the cover letter. Here is the unclassified ARB Report.
I just read the letter. It is brilliant. It should stand as yet another extraordinary response to an existing problem in the same vein as her 1000 Days and clean cookstove efforts. What she has managed to do here is agree with the ARB’s findings and involve the Congressional committees in the effort to address them at every turn. So while she is saying that there were weaknesses, she is also saying that she has already initiated steps to address them that can succeed only if Congress cooperates. I like to read documents myself rather than have media interpret them for me. This letter is a masterpiece from the best secretary of state I have seen in my life. It is a must read!
Very soon, this is the only blog to support Hillary in this most trying circumstances. Thanks for your dedication.

I don’t know if I’ll make it through the whole report, but I just read her letter, and it is quite comprehensive and solid. She sure can run an organization well.

i think the panel did a very good job in its review. let us not forget that hillary appointed these people, so obviously she never was interested in a whitewash of any sort. this reuters article says pickering and mullen don’t blame hillary directly. i was pretty sure that was the case, as far as her knowing specifically about the security shortcomings, but she accepted overall responsibility because she’s the nation’s top diplomat (and it’s not her MO to shift blame anyway).

[…] Both documents were made available here at the time and remain available on the sidebar on the right. In the wake of their publication, I posted sections of the report in small portions on Facebook. Several friends thought that was a good way to make the information available. […]

[…] The delivery of the completed report along with a cover letter dated December 18, 2012 delineating in detail many steps Hillary had already taken to address weaknesses in security at U.S. missions worldwide also came in well before the deadlines outlined in the FAM. The cover letter is brilliant and well worth the read. If you happen to find yourself in a discussion on the subject of Benghazi, the events surrounding this attack, and State Department responses to it, you will find valuable points therein. The letter and reports were addressed and delivered to the chairs and ranking members of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. […]
