Not being much of a poll-watcher or believer, I am not familiar with this one. Here it is, anyway, for what it is worth. When I see these polls, I bear in mind that Hillary has been out of office all of three weeks, and that these numbers can be very different two years from today, but if you really need a boost today, here they are.
Public Puts Hillary Clinton Far Ahead of 2016 Contenders

The latest Reason-Rupe poll asked Americans what one person they would most like to see run for president in 2016. Without being given a list to choose from, Hillary Clinton was the most frequented name given at 22 percent. It is unclear from this data alone whether this result stems from Americans who want her to run and win and those who want her to run, and well, lose.

I haven’t seen a poll yet where Hillary didn’t come out on top. 😀

Exactly, no surprise here.
It’s up to Hillary to decide what she wants to do with her life, but if she does choose to run in 2016, I think that this time she would win.

I’m with you. One can’t make any rational conclusion from this sort of thing – but it does offer hope.

Being at the top this early can make for some nasty commentary. It opens up more chatter of lies about her. I want to see what happens in a year from now. I would be so awesome to see her be the next President of the United States.

You’re right about the nasty commentary. We’re seeing it already with the wingnuts’ Benghazi-related distortions.
But on the positive side, these polls enable Hillary to make an informed decision about 2016. Since she comes out on top each time, the message is clear– a Hillary 2016 campaign would get plenty of support. The people want her, including an unusual number of voters in the so-called red states. What Hillary does with this information is, of course, up to her.

I don’t think she’ll be making that decision based on today’s polls. There is a long way to go.

True, not on today’s polls; I meant the cumulative affect of these polls over time. 2016 is a long way off, but that won’t stop the pollsters from asking about it.
