The Gallup poll out today has Hillary still leading in favorability over the president, the vice president, and her successor as secretary of state. Whether numbers like these would hold if she were to step back into the arena is unclear. What is most startling about these numbers, given Gallup’s methodology, is the column on the far right.
April 23, 2013Hillary Clinton Is Still Popular, More So Than Obama, Biden
Clinton starts with advantage over Biden if both run in 2016
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Though currently she is — at least temporarily — out of political life, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to enjoy a strong favorability rating, now 64%. Americans view Clinton more favorably than the president and vice president, as well as Clinton’s successor, Secretary of State John Kerry.
Here is How Gallup conducted the poll.
Survey Methods
Results for this Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted April 11-14, 2013, with a random sample of 1,012 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points.

Gorgeous picture.. it’s great to see that her numbers have stayed high.
I bet the GOPers can see it too.. and cannot wait to bring her down.. Rep.Boehner et al are busily at it slinging it at her for anything.

Yes, I am looking at their bogus Benghazi report now. They still cannot wrap their heads around the concept that offensive action in a country where you have diplomatic relations would be an invasion. After this morning in Tripoli are they going to say the Pentagon should be authorized to take what they call offensive action?

Can you beleive that report, can they beleive that anyone is going to take seriously a totally partisian report?

Not surprising. Hillary has been more popular than Obama for the last few years. Biden is a nice guy, but he’s not going to be the nominee in 2016, even if Hillary doesn’t run. He’s already 70 years old and is prone to gaffes.

Said as if we did not experience eight years of this guy! Joe gaffes, yes, but this guy set the bar.

True, but the public perceives Biden to be a gaffe machine. His age is also an issue, he would be 74 in 2016. The Republican nominee will probably be much younger.

True, but if it’s Rubio, his clearly receding hairline puts him at a distinct disadvantage. (See hair discussions)

Biden or any other Democrat would have an advantage if the Republican nominee is a Tea Party member, such as Rubio, Paul, Ryan, Cruz, etc.
