Hillary will be honored at a gala tomorrow evening with the IMCA award and again at a Saturday brunch with the MALI award. Both Clinton gals will be promoting their Clinton Foundation initiatives in conjunction with the Producers Guild of America to a variety of media executives and writers in LA and will host the foundation’s Millennium Network Event in San Francisco. OT: I am so pleased 60 Minutes CBS had to admit their massive error regarding B-word. (Not that most of us believed one word of it since it was clearly propaganda.) It is pretty amazing how they were scammed and I hope someone figures out why this guy told the truth to his employer (State) and the FBI but then lied to publishers and TeeVee and tried to get paid. How much you want to bet that more comes out on who was bankrolling him? It has SMEAR HILL all over it. Bastages that they are put him up to it, i’d bet. Will FOX retract all their coverage of the CBS story? Cheya-right.

The gullibility blows me away. Somehow I expect more skepticism from reporters, especially on a story so explosive. It all smacks of a predisposition that manipulates outcomes. I don’t want to believe that it was intentional and am trying to resist it, but I do. I can’t help it. What he did was bad enough, but that CBS believed him is worse. Willing participants in fraud.

and 60 minutes said they spent a year on the investigation? did they bother to check out anything this guy said? i used to respect 60 minutes, but this is a huge blow to their credibility. thank god media matters and david brock pursued this.

Yep, CBS, 60 Minutes and Lara Logan had to eat crow. The publishing company is also pulling the book and told booksellers to send he books back to them. When Fox refused to interview this guy it should have rang a warning bell at CBS. We all know that Fox loves to attack Democrats, but even they didn’t buy this guy’s malarkey.
