Bill and Hillary Clinton will be in Washington DC on Wednesday, he to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, she to co-host, with Colin Powell and John McCain, the Kennedy Center screening of the film Mandela. The couple will also accompany the Obamas to John F. Kennedy’s gravesite for a wreath-laying at Arlington National Cemetery on that day.
Friday, November 22nd, will mark the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination. As everyone who was conscious at the time will remember as if it were yesterday, November 22, 1963 also fell on a Friday.
The 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is Friday.
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Obama will visit John F. Kennedy’s gravesite and honor two of Kennedy’s lasting initiatives as the nation observes the 50th anniversary of his assassination in the coming week.
Obama and his wife, Michelle, will be accompanied by former president Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary, at a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. Also that day, Obama will be joined by scores of prominent Americans who have received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in paying tribute to Kennedy’s legacy.
On Monday, Hillary will make appearances in Naples FL at the Global Financial Leadership Conference and in Orlando to keynote at 2013 Press Ganey National Client Conference. Tuesday she will be back in New York to present the World Jewish Congress Theodore Herzl Award to Elie and Marion Wiesel.
Still, thank you for keeping constantly up to date on what the energizer bunny is up to. Following her is a full time activity. The stories about her wearing out staff who were half her age are clearly not exaggerated. She continuously is a hero to admire. She has never let me down and I don’t foresee her ever doing so. She does her best, always, and it is always better than anybody else can muster.
It is incredible that the right wing still promotes cds and that they still manage to create a market for it. There is no cure for stupid and anybody who underestimates her or demeans her with innuendo and false accusations of “all these horrible scandals” that do not exist in the real world, just needs to turn off their so-called “news source” because it is hogwash. Clearly, she is exceptional and extremely competent and vastly more experienced than any other person on the political world stage.
The pictures are wonderful, as always. Sincere thanks.

It is a pleasure to keep up with Hillary’s assiduous work on the issues that matter most to her – issues that to some might seem disparate and compartmentalized but that she always can demonstrate to be interconnected among themselves and with larger global issues that most consider the big overarching ones we deal with regularly today.
Hillary provides the big picture, and keeping track of her work is a labor of love made all the sweeter by those like yourself who are so loyal to her, know the importance of keeping her work up front, and provide support here.
I was recently asked how I handle the criticisms. Readers here know that I have refuted the most serious ones and consider those refutations to be my last words regarding those issues. There seems to be no point in repeatedly posting the same arguments endlessly. It is a waste of time when her work continues to move forward.
I have opened so many newsfeeds to find 20-25 articles speculating on what all of her speaking engagements mean. How sad that the media attends only to the sum total of her speaking events rather than the content of those remarks. They miss the point. It is not about how often she speaks in a week. It is always about what she actually has to say on a subject and the actions she has chosen to take or to join to address the issue.
How silly and superficial it is to look for buried implications in the number of personal appearances she makes when each individual event carries its own import. Those attending to the quantity are missing the quality.
I saw a report on CNN this morning about how many times she spoke this week. Too bad the reporter chose not to cover what she said.

Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful picture!! I have not been here much (personal challenges).. but I can count on you to give the best coverage on Hillary. Thank you for that.

You absolutely said that right – about the media covering her in an entirely superficial manner that will always resist genuinely understanding her. In doing this the media unwittingly feeds the caricature of her as being all about ambition for power rather than the truth of her being all about the achievement to improve lives of others. I think the national ethos is such that it cannot entirely grasp the idea that someone of her stature is truly in it to do the most good for the most people.

So true; but while the Media (Left and Right) has covered her mostly under a bad light; her work and actions have been so deep and persistent that even a lot of staunch Republicans respect and admired her for that! Nobody besides her has endured such a constant scrutiny and criticism and has shine as she has .She is absolutely great and admirable! She knows her actions (as Meryl Streep said on the Women in the World Summit)have saved the lives of hundreds of women around the world.God bless her!

And for people like her, what matters is saving those lives – not getting widespread public credit for it.

Correct and true about all of her work. What matters to her is that the work gets done, not who gets credit for it.

Thank you, Carl. They really do not “get” her, and I do blame the media for fabricating stories that do not exist while ignoring the true stories that are there. It betrays the lack of professionalism now rampant in the media.

The media seems to understand only self-interest driven and politically driven actions, and constantly looks for political connections.. desparately.. and in the process does not even give coverage to the content… to what she actually said.. grrrrr..
