She would NEVER have allowed social safety nets to be "on the table."
"... ratify the Law of the Sea Convention, which has provided the international framework for exploring these new opportunities in the Arctic. We abide by the international law that undergirds the convention, but we think the United States should be a member, because the convention sets down the rules of the road that protect freedom of navigation, provide maritime security, serve the interests of every nation that relies on sea lanes for commerce and trade, and also sets the framework for exploration for the natural resources that may be present in the Arctic." -HRC, 06-03-12, Tromso Norway

They picked two so called historians who hate Hillary Clinton. So disappointed.

I know. They should have had Carl Anthony. He knows her and likes her. But this is par for the media. They bring on the people with axes to grind and call them Hillary Clinton experts.

I was soooooo disappointed. Gail Sheehy was clearly there to gossip. She didn’t know basic facts and got other basic facts wrong but claimed to know the inner “agreements” of their marriage!?!? And had to constantly speak about her hair or her self esteem??? It drives me crazy when they insist on talking about aesthetics instead of the fact that she is THE most accomplished woman in history. Cspan should be embarrassed.
Sorry for my rant! Lol!

I agree – finally got around to watching it thanks to a snow day, and I am really irritated. Lots of things were gossipy or wrong.

HRCRocks – I completely agree! I fast forwarded a lot – I couldn’t handle listening to Gail Sheehy act like she knew what she was talking about – so I didn’t hear her talk about how she knows the inner agreements of their marriage. Wonder where she even comes up with any of her nonsense – it is obvious she has never actually gotten to know Hillary. And she probably had the opportunity to.

I didn’t like the C-span piece at all – and I really don’t like Gail Sheehy. She has no understanding of who Hillary is, she describes one tiny little side to her personality. Some of the things she states as fact, she could not know unless Hillary had confided that to her, which is unlikely. She also didn’t know basic things about Hillary. Someone asked what her other interests were and she couldn’t name one thing! She answered that she is really only interested in politics and is not interested in hair. Gail has absolutely no understanding of their marriage and their relationship and she sounds like she talked to a few people, read a book – and that’s how she got to know them, I am kind of surprised Cspan would present her as an expert. I was not familiar with the other so called expert there. I had to fast forward through much of it, there is just so much you can listen to!

Yes, for a “biographer” her lack of knowledge was pathetic.
