In Iowa earlier this week, Hillary told reporters that she wanted her emails released as soon as possible. Bear in mind that releasing them is not under her control but rather under the control of the State Department. Today 349 pages were released and the New York Times provided this pdf.
Libya-Related Messages From Hillary Clinton’s Personal Email Account
There are a few in the media that have tried to make a scandal of the fact that the SOS was getting emails from Sidney Blumenthal because he was “banned” from the State Department by the Obama Administration. What they are not telling their readers/viewers is that he was not allowed to work there by the White House for purely political reasons–hard feelings left over from the primaries. He was not “banned” for national security reasons as these media nitwits are insinuating.
It’s ridiculous that Blumenthal was barred from working for Hillary for any reason and shows how small some WH aides were. But to suggest he is some kind of shady character, possibly even a national security risk, is the height of media dishonesty.

And the Obama campaign was such a model of propriety during the primaries.

Oh yes, I remember it well! But Hillary’s supporters were the only ones expected to “get over it”.

Still, I have been talking to some of those proper gentlemen we dealt with and a few have mentioned being banned from Hillary sites. I tell them, yep. Well that’s all behind us now. H & O worked it out, we can too. And they are coming around and it looks like a lot of them are relieved to let go the old spats and keep DEM control. Looking good. We haven’t even started yet.
At least we don’t have to do this again till 2020. 🙂

I administer a few Hillary groups on Facebook. I only ban people who want to sell Ray Bans, obvious Republican trolls, and, most recently, people whose other groups include the Ayn Rand Book Club or Jesse Ventura for President 2016.

Then, there are those who actually say Hillary was wrong to forward the Blumenthal Libya emails to State Department officials. Wait! Now I’m really confused. Should she have deleted emails which were clearly work related?Isn’t that what they suspect/accuse her of doing up until now? Their scandal mongering isn’t even consistent.

God Bless her. She is standing tall. She never lied to anyone. They need to move on.

I have never understood the hating on Sidney.
But he must be good if the Republicans fear him so.

The Beltway is like junior high. If you think of it that way, all the silly things they do and say are easy to understand.

helen, I agree with both points. I always knew the story of David Brock being against the Clinton’s before he reversed and became Media Matters, but I didn’t know Blumenthal was the one who converted Brock. OR I did know long ago and forgot…
The other outstanding convert to Clintonism was Scaife. Formed the core of bringing them down and then praised Hillary in 07, donated to the Foundation heavily, and when Bill gave Mellon Scaife’s euology that was a moment of wonderment.
The thing I am seeing is that fear you mention. The Rs attacks are so full of fear they are making asses of themselves and are making people DEFEND the Clinton honor. It is backfiring on them. They are making the front runner even stronger.
May they eat her dust. Unless they want to convert. All are welcome. 🙂

This is the email file. I skimmed it, no time yet, but it is very intersting. She is going to make one wonky president with good friends and sources.

No wonder Hillary wanted these emails released. They shed light on the kind of dedicated, brilliant public servant she is.

It is some pretty heady stuff – and this is her PERONAL account pages that she turned over. This isn’t the 55,000 pages of State official docs.
We all get stuff like that in our email personal box, right?
Can Walker understand any of this? LOL, she is so above ready.
