The Iowa State Fair is off and rolling, and Republicans were all over the fair grounds today. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, held a Town Hall on college affordability in Dubuque and won a ringing endorsement from former Senator Tom Harkin and another from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Hillary will be at the fair tomorrow to speak as well as to meet and greet Iowans.

I saw the town hall today but missed the start. I loved when she called Jeb! by his brothers name because I have done that same thing the same way. Out of habit every now and then George comes out.
She was great with the Q&A – well suited to her platform.

The union endorsements are of utmost importance. 700,000 new backers.
This is a huge show of power and of the party organizing behind her.

I was here today at this event and I was so very proud of Secretary Clinton! She has the heart of a Jesuit scholar, the mind of a great political leader and the grace and temperament of a dignified woman. We must stay focus and work very hard to get this woman elected. Our country needs Hillary and indeed the entire civilized world!

Comments on the previous post indicate that once again Hillary is being urged to quit. Seriously?! Last time it was supposedly because she was too far behind. I have avoided media all week. I recommend it! But this time it must be because she’s so far ahead! Powerful people, institutions, and interests do not want the best candidate who would be the best president to become president. this means we must redouble our efforts!

I started seeing posts saying WWTBQ (why won’t the B-word quit) the day she declared. Some are doing it for snark and to remind the PUMAs they are still so bad ass and remind us they are still around. Charming lads, they.
