Just sayin’.
Hillary Clinton retweeted Kelly O’Donnell
Hillary Clinton added, How about “babies,” “children,” or “American citizens.”
I don’t know if my grandparents ever became citizens. I don’t think my grandmother lived long enough to. So, though they came legally, in a way my mom and her three brothers were “anchor babies” who conceivably might have been sent to Austria-Hungary in the middle of a war when my grandmother died, and my grandfather had to put the boys in foster care (i.e. public assistance). Had that happened, three guys who fought fought in WW II on our side could have ended up fighting on the other side. Our side also would have missed out on one machinist – my mom.
You reap what you sow. The U.S. invested in them, and they paid it back and forward. That can be multiplied by millions from Austria-Hungary, Italy, and Germany between 1900 and 1910 whose children formed “the greatest generation” and fought the biggest war.

One pair of great-grandparents came over from Hungary just before my grandmother was born in Pennsylvania in January of 1901.
The other side came from Italy and went back then came back again – and there were 11 brothers and sisters born before during and after. My dad was born over there on one of their trips back. Then most of them came and settled and worked their hearts out. My daughter missed the cultural experience I had from both sides of the family. Salt of the earth the whole lot of them.

LOL! O’Malley is the John Edwards of this presidential cycle. He likes to show off his sexy bod? Now, that’s a quality we all should look for in a presidential candidate.
Seriously, I don’t know why O’Malley isn’t out looking for a good paying job since he and his wife are deep in debt.

Maybe he is being paid to run? Hmmmmm…a nice deal down the road, perhaps some cushy promise for a job. It has been known to happen.

When he was governor of Maryland, he and his wife had a combined income of well over 300 grand a year, yet they were hundreds of thousands in debt. He claims it’s because he has two kids in private colleges. I’m skeptical of that explanation. So now he’s running for president and supposedly getting no income? Wouldn’t most of us with that kind of debt put a priority on paying off the debt? I can’t conceive of making $300,000 per year and not being able to live on it! Most people live on MUCH LESS. It just strikes me as very strange. But he’s so low in the polls it hasn’t gotten much attention.
