Hillary was with longtime pal and supporter Charles Rangel at the Congressional Black Caucus Dinner in D.C. on Saturday evening after a hugely well-received appearance at the New Hampshire Democratic Convention earlier in the day. We are all ever grateful to Charlie for spiriting Hillary to New York and encouraging her to run for the Senate.

CARROLL, IA – JULY 26: Democratic presidential hopeful and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks to guests gathered for a house party on July 26, 2015 in Carroll, Iowa. Although Clinton leads all other Democratic contenders, a recent poll had her trailing several of the Republican candidates in Iowa. We’ll talk to the former secretary of state about the news of the day, both at home and abroad, the state of her campaign, and what it’s like running as an establishment candidate in a campaign that’s shaping up, so far, as the year of the outsider.
Hillary Men also believes the worm has turned in favor of Hillary as she weathered those horrible few months. Could any other candidate have done that? I doubt it.

The media insists Hillary is an “establishment” candidate. Really? As a woman, she is the ultimate outsider. I think that should be obvious after all she’s been put through the last few months. Gloria Steinem said it best: A woman is never the front runner. And never “establishment”.

Yay! And just saw Hillary on Face the Nation. She asked, “How can you be running to be the first woman president and not be an outsider!”

And if this is the “year of the outsider,” an as yet untested assumption, why is media pushing Joe Biden to run? He is the ultimate establishment figure.

Hillary frontrunner with nobody close is not a story.

I just now saw a guy on This Week call Bernie “establishment.” 🙂
In Florida, Grayson is saying Bernie has accomplishments?! Right…. sure.
Jimmy Fallon had his best ratings in 7 months with Hillary.
I got my mojo working…. dancing with Hillary.

Grayson is defending Bernie?

All I know is that at the convention yesterday even Bernie’s supporters looked bored and listless.

They were clearly not feeling any bern at all.
They were pretending to actually care and it was clear it was a put on happy face as they shrugged and winced at his awful hollow speech.

It must be exhausting listening to all that angry yelling day after day. (Sorry, Stiil, I know we’re supposed to follow Hillary’s lead. Can’t help myself!)

Greyson imho is just awful all around.
From Sabado Crystal Ball:
“Democrats have had some duds of their own in recent years, but they will be saddled with their own Akin if Rep. Alan Grayson beats Rep. Patrick Murphy in the Florida Democratic Senate primary.
Democrats fear they cannot capture the Florida seat if the bomb-throwing Grayson wins, whereas they think they have a good shot with Murphy, a former Republican who has positioned himself as a centrist. Republicans understand this too, and some outside conservative groups have already run ads attacking Murphy to help Grayson, a tactic popularized by Sen. Claire McCaskill’s (D-Mo.) maneuvering to aid the weakest GOP primary candidate, Akin, in 2012. (It’s worth noting that the Republican primary in Florida is very much unsettled as well.)”

The next president of the United States just gave an awesome interview despite the old bull about Benghazi and emails and whatever coming up.
SHE ROCKED IT once again.
Bye bye Bush, Bernie, Marco, Donald – you are in for a world of hurt and she will do it without messing up her nails or even taking off her gloves.
Oh hell yeah! Wonk, brilliant, puma orange, 3am call, calling Tunis for help, in command, laughing at it all and staying clear focused and cutting through all the crap with ease.
President Hillary. Can we just vote now and get this over with?
I want the coronation – the hell with the work – she is the one and we sure have been waiting for her a very very long time.
GO HILLLLLLLL!

They want her to give them a soundbite to prove she’s not a soundbite!
As to the emails, any choice she made would have led to a fuss and questions, because that is Gowdy’s job — to make a fuss and raise questions.
