We can only guess how debate prep is unfolding in the campaign camps. CNN says walk throughs will commence shortly. Topically it is a crap shoot although it is a pretty good guess that Webb, Chafee, and O’Malley will be concentrating on introducing themselves to viewers who have never heard of them. When it comes to seizing the moment, however, the lady in red has already won the day. She did it yesterday.
Hillary Clinton arrived in Las Vegas, got in a car, and went straight into town to join a labor rally at Donald Trump’s hotel. It seems one other candidate heard about this demonstration after Hillary had made a an entrance and a speech and sent a car for people to wave at. We do not know if that candidate was actually in the car at the moment.
Back in 2008, when I was promoting Hillary Clinton, one of the things I remember saying frequently was that she is scary smart and that what we need is scary smart. That remains true, and what could possibly be scarier to all comers no matter the party, than this amazing move by Hillary Clinton? Basically, she can just stand there tonight and smile graciously. As one commentator put it, she can straighten all their ties. She won the optics with this.

I’m confident Hillary will do a great job tonight. But we all need to be prepared for the media to say she lost because only anit-Hillary narratives are allowed in this campaign.
I read somewhere ( possibly AP) that all the Dem candidates were actually invited to the rally. If so, it’s baffling that none of the others were there. And Hillary not only showed up but was wearing the appropriate color–bright crimson. First debate point goes to the lady in red!
I saw that somewhere too. If it’s true, I can’t imagine what the others were thinking. Corollary to that, of course if only one was going to show up it would be Hillary, and, as you mentioned, appropriately attired. I like the khakis and the shoes too. She has those in a few colors. Very cute! 🙂

The rest of them didn’t start early. She did it here and there a little at a time rather than last minute stress.

Still – This is the car wrap type thing they use. There are a few here in Florida the Hillary people have seen at local events. Not official just some of his supporters, with money to bern… do this. The one guy did it to his Tesla for example.
I heard it was going to be pulled to. Joe didn’t want it to run, supposedly but Draft Biden can do whatever they want, I guess. He also supposedly said he would want them to end that pac and start a different one. Which has to be done if Biden gets in anyway.
It cannot have his name in it. It is why Ready for Hillary became Ready pac. etc. Candidate pacs can’t have the candidates name – one of the rules. It can before declaring.
I think he let that out so people know to not give too much to that pac and wait till he has one as a candidate – if he gets in.
It is all crap. Hillary busted her ass fighting for 6 months – don’t think you can waltz in after the debates and just make her ceiling breaking lifelong fight disappear.
WE HAVE HER BACK and so does most of the damn party this time!
Ladies,start your engines or as Max would say” Let the Wild Rumpus begin.” Tonight is all about redemption for me. They couldn’t take her out of the political arena in ’08; she’s still standing Obots and Repubs!! And in the words of Maya Angelou ,” She will rise.”
Tonight the American public will have both a visual and auditory reminder of what a real fighter looks like..not buff, not slimy..just someone who does her homework and her job.
Also, It is delicious that Jeffries of NY endorsed Hillary strongly today but even better he called out DeBlasio as sitting around just waiting and waiting – what the hell is he waiting for! Get out there for Hillary he implied.
