Hillary was interviewed by Scott Pelley on CBS News this evening.
Hillary Clinton: “I’ve always tried” to tell the truth
LAS VEGAS — For Hillary Clinton, these are high roller stakes in Nevada after losing New Hampshire in a landslide and essentially tying in Iowa.
She has decided to stay in Nevada through the caucus on Saturday. CBS News spoke to her at her Las Vegas campaign office.
SCOTT PELLEY:What do you think Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have tapped into? It’s a powerful thing.
HILLARY CLINTON:Look, I do think, Scott, people are angry. People feel here government’s not working for them. The economy’s not working. The political system is not working. But I also see in the eyes of the people I’m meeting with, “Okay, tell me something I can believe. Don’t over-promise. Tell me what I can believe you will do for me and my family.” And that’s what I’ve tried to do.
Please join Hillary in helping the Flint Child Health & Development Fund if you can >>>>
I look forward to the day so-called journalists stop implying that Hillary is a liar without giving a single example of anything she has ever lied about. Instead they expect her to prove her innocence! I guess I’ll be lucky to live so long.

“Your resume checks almost every box in terms of experience, but that doesn’t seem to be what the American people want in this election.”
Gee, Scott, you think maybe your profession giving Bernie a pass and taking GOP talking points/smears about her at face value is one of the reasons for that? She’s trying to fight off the GOP, the media and the gullible left wing all while running as the first woman to be a credible candidate for president.
If she were a man with her resume, winning this primary would be a cakewalk.

And there was more about her speech transcripts last night but still nothing about Sanders trying to dump Vermont’s nuclear waste on a poor Latino community in Texas–something that really might be relevent to Nevada caucus goers.

And as she’s said repeatedly, she’ll be happy to release them – when every other candidate is held to the same standard and is asked to as well.

I enjoyed Clinton sending a spear in Bernie’s direction in terms of how the man only became a Democrat last year. She got booed for it but as she said: “Sorry, but it’s true.”
Of course, the True Believers rather believe in truthiness and not deal with the fact that Sanders will be running as an Independent once again when he defends his Senate seat.
Inconvenient facts are stumbling blocks for the Saint Bernard Brigade. They pretend they don’t matter but eventually they catch up, as in accusing Hillary of cozying up to President Obama for the sake of winning the AA vote. Then Clyburn endorsed HRC. Smack!
The beat goes on.
