Worth reading. Donna Brazile is a DEM super delegate; she truly is undecided (dont assume anything from 2008). There is suggestion of unity ticket.
The Fat Lady Hasn’t Sung Yet – Donna Brazile 3/17/2016
Excerpt:
Clinton and Sanders, politically, are like heart lockets, split in half, yet fitting perfectly when together. Like steel on steel they sharpen one another. And like split heart lockets, they need each other’s supporters to be a whole. Each one has hold of an important constituency of the Democratic Party. By themselves, without the other’s supporters, it will be difficult to win in November.
I read a similar article suggesting unity ticket, by Paul Begala sometime last week. If I find that will share a link.

She is not undecided. As Vice Chair she cannot voice a position and must stay publicly neutral. She says this at least three times daily on CNN.

NO to Sanders. Just NO.

I think Sanders would not be a good pick for VP for numerous reasons (age, temperament, etc). Didn’t people make the same argument that Obama should pick Hillary for VP in 2008, and he still won easily anyway?

… with his original quite energized young voters, help of a lot of Hillary voters
(and an older white-male VP on the ticket). Just an observation. Not saying that that’s what it should be.
My viewpoint: Whoever Hillary chooses is good for me. We just need to get the broadest coalition to support.

Sanders for Veep is a really, really BAD idea and not at all necessary to win in November.

Here it is.. It was not Pal Begala… it was Lanny Davis. (That’s why I couldnt find it)
Clinton-Sanders: A New Majority Coalition – Lanny Davis, The Hill 3/13/2016

I was quite surprised to read that coming from Lanny Davis, a long-time supporter of Hillary.

Sam,
Davis is not at all suggesting in the least bit a unity ticket. He is specifically discussing Sanders coming on board to back a common democratic party platform of five basic issues. He makes it clear Hillary is the choice of nominee and does not give any place for Sanders other than to bring his minions under the party umbrella and to stop hurting the party.
“I believe Clinton and Sanders agree on virtually all of them. (Full disclosure: I believe Clinton’s experience and qualifications and ability to get things done in Washington would make her the far superior nominee for the Democratic Party.”

ok. Thank you Karen. I agree with the basic 5 rules Lanny Davis has layed out, and that Sanders has to support the Dem nominee. He cannot just ‘use’ the Dem ticket to promote himself and his agenda… forever.
