Read Hillary’s response to Donald Trump’s outrageous comments this week. Many people are writing and reporting on this story, but these are Hillary’s own words. Media source can spin stories. This is directly from Hillary Clinton – unspun!
Hillary Clinton yesterday 4 min readDonald Trump’s comments are horrific — and telling.
All of the Republican frontrunners for president want to make abortion illegal. Now Donald Trump has said how he’d enforce that prohibition: punishing women and doctors.
Donald Trump can try to distance himself from his comments all he wants. But we all heard what he said. As Maya Angelou said, “When people show you who they are, believe them.”
Donald Trump keeps showing us who he is. We should believe him.
But it’s important to remember that he’s not alone. Donald Trump is just saying what Republican politicians across the country believe — everyone who has signed and voted for laws to defund Planned Parenthood, force women to undergo invasive and medically unnecessary procedures before ending a pregnancy, mandate that doctors recite misleading information to patients, and shutter every abortion provider for miles. These are laws that are meant to shame women and block their access to health care. That’s their purpose.
We don’t need to imagine the consequences of these laws. It’s unfolding right before our eyes.

Whenever politicians become involved in deciding whether, when, and how a woman becomes a mother, it’s not just degrading — it’s dangerous. Few decisions are more sacred or intensely personal, and women deserve to make them for ourselves.
Here’s the good news: While Donald Trump is a bully, voters will have our say at the ballot box. So if you disagree with his comments, you’ve got to vote. Vote like your health and rights depend on it. Because they do.
I just posted under the Wisconsin event speech thread but want to bring it forward in case anyone didn’t watch that speech.
~~~~~~~~~~
I watched this on c-span this morning and she was so fabulous. I fast forwarded to Hillary and then to Franken.
Two amazing Democratic leaders both on top of their games on this day.
Wow to both. If I never heard of either of them I would vote for either just based on their one time – 1/2 hour speeches!!!
The stupid crap his campaign is pulling, such as they tried in Nevada with our delegates, just shows their utter desperation. We will get them back when we have the state level convention – and if not, then big whoopie – they stole a delegate or two but they will pay for it in showing how low they really are.
The Sanders staff went after Tom Watson, an unpaid Hillary supporter who writes tweets, FCS! Still, you should be hearing from Bernie’s top brass any day now!!! lol.
I can feel it, we are in the homestretch, things are looking sweet. New York and Pennsylvania will bring this one home for the homegirl.
We will keep squeezing it out but we have the wind at our backs. Go HILL!
Convention Disruption Emerges as a Campaign Tactic
There will be a lot more to this as the days unfold but as I see it Hillary still leads in pledged delegates 13-10 with the remaining delegates to be allocated at the State convention if this new delegate total is upheld. Sanders is a very corrupt, unethical and dirty politician running a Nixon like campaign.
People are beginning to catch up on Sanders’ dirty politics.
Also how dare he point fingers at Hillary taking campaign contribution when he has done so himself despite the fact that he has even signed off that he wouldn’t do that. Holier than thou indeed. Disappointed in Sanders.
Desparation is leading him to lose his mooring.. and in the process he is dishing out what he shouldnt.. what he wouldnt have if he was a true Dem committed to a DEM agenda. That’s what is coming out in this process.. He is even forgetting to say that we want a DEM victory. It is all about Sanders right now.
Go HILLARY! We are with you all the way.
The news media is trying to pin any direct tricks on secretary Clinton as sanders the savior can do no wrong. The biggest lie is sanders can win! If he youngest stopped for one moment and ran numbers they would realize they are making Sanderson weaver and Devine rich!
Paul Krugman nails it in this op-ed post, on many fronts.
– Math is not on Sanders’ side.
– Sanders is not doing any civic duty stuff relative to DEM down tickets.. Not campaigning with others, yet expects DEM super delegates to line up in his column..
– Sanders is not acting responsibly.
Feel the Math – by Paul Krugman (NYTimes 4/1/2016)
Excerpt:
It’s important to realize that there are some real conflicts of interest here. For Sanders campaign staff, and also for anyone who has been backing his insurgency, it’s been one heck of a ride, and they would understandably like it to go on as long as possible. But we’ve now reached the point where what’s fun for the campaign isn’t at all the same as what’s good for America.
Sanders doesn’t need to drop out, but he needs to start acting responsibly.
and you really have to read this to get the full import of what Paul Krugman is saying there about the duplicity in his not supporting down ballots and yet asking for super delegates’ to switch and support him…
