April marked the anniversary of Hillary’s campaign, and we still had a long way to go!
Hillary began the month in her home state with a visit to Syracuse. Her first stop was a roundtable on manufacturing.
Then she moved on to a rally at Syracuse University. You will note she wore orange. This is the only orange Hillary supporters accept.
Then she was in Wisconsin with Tammy Baldwin.
At the Wisconsin Founders’ Day Gala
At the Christian Cultural Center Church in the East New York section of Brooklyn
At the “Fight for 15” victory party in New York
Then Hillary headed up the Hudson Valley to Cohoes, NY
Town Hall for Women in Brooklyn
Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Convention
At Impact Services Corporation in Philadelphia PA, Hillary joined Mayor Jim Kenney for a roundtable.
A rally at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh
In The Bronx
On the subway
A Bronx baby
A “Growing Jobs and Raising Incomes Roundtable” at a medical facility in Buffalo
A rally in Rochester
At Junior’s in Brooklyn for some cheesecake … but which one?
And a rally in Sunset Park with Nydia Vasquez
Sunday morning services in Queens
A rally in Baltimore with Elijah Cummings and Barbara Mikulski
Back in Queens again the next day and then a rally in Port Washington
On Equal Pay Day and the anniversary of her entry into the 2016 presidential race, Hillary Clinton participated in a roundtable on the pay gap in Manhattan.
At Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network Convention
With striking Verizon workers in New York
A grassroots organizing event in the Bronx
The CNN/NY1 Debate in Brooklyn
At a senior center in East Harlem
Then she was off to Los Angeles for a fundraiser and a rally.
Sunday in Mount Vernon, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Yonkers, and Queens
Primary Day in Chappaqua
Same day, after voting in Chappaqua at North America’s Building Trades Unions 2016 Legislative Conference at the Washington Hilton.
Then quickly back home for this!
In Philadelphia with Eric Holder on gun violence
Rally in Philly
GMA Town Hall in Times Square
In Hartford
In Jenkintown, PA with Lilly Ledbetter for a “Breaking Economic Barriers Conversation” with local women
In Pittsburgh, Scranton, Dunsmore
At Orangeside on Temple in New Haven
Sunday services in Philadelphia
At a rally in Bridgeport targeting gun violence
In Wilmington, Delaware on jobs and education
Town Hall at Constitution Hall in Philly
GOTV rally in Philly
At an Eagle Academy fundraiser in NY
Another Super Tuesday in CT, DE, MD, PA, and RI. She won all but RI.
April TV appearances:
Joy Behar is fierce for Hillary like we are. I think Whoopi is too but she doesn’t say it as much.
At Black Girls Rock
Karen Finney was there, too.
April endorsements: Morris County (NJ) Democrats, New York Daily News, Newsday, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
And so went April. Not the cruelest month.
For all sad words of tongue and pen, The saddest are these, ‘It might (should) have been.’

Now I understand your comment about the color orange.
It is also the color of Syracuse Universaty, right ? I like the color, because when it is kings day, the 27th of April, everybody in Holland, wears it. It is a very festive color, and joyful to me, so that is why it took a moment to comprehend.

Yes, exactly! I forget that local culture is not necessarily obvious. Actually, as you know, New York was originally Dutch. The New York Mets team colors are royal blue and orange in tribute to that heritage.
