Hillary delivered the keynote speech at the Regional Plan Association in New York this afternoon. She covered a range of topics from infrastructure through climate change. She spoke of her visit to Ground Zero on September 12, 2001 and how she and Chuck Schumer got GOP cooperation for recovery after the terror attack. She admitted that she likes policy while stressing that policy is only a first step that should lead to action.

On the first segment of her show this am, Joy Reid gave a Master Class on how journalists can take responsibility for past mistakes by taking responsibility for her past mistakes. It was riveting and moving. And impressive. Joy Reid is a national treasure.

I missed it too. I know who she is. She writes and performs on Late Night with Seth Meyers, so If I had known she was going to be there I could have predicted the effect. They don’t pull any punches there.

Then the media spends a whole day proving how correct she was. The same media that insisted it was perfectly appropriate for a reporter to speculate about Chelsea’s hair (a private citizen!). Now we’re not allowed to mention Huckabee Sanders’ eyeshadow in the context of her many lies. To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, we paid for that eyeshadow!

Speaking of Chelsea and how she handles trolls on Twitter, she responded today to a MAGA bot who asked her if she were a member of the daughters of Satan. She did it beautifully.

As the TV regime’s viewers should know, smoky eye is a choice not a physical trait. Jennifer Aniston makes this point many times weekly in a TV ad.
