We know Hillary Clinton likes the show. Now she will have a cameo role on it along with other former secretaries of state.
Hillary Clinton is set to play herself on the fifth season premiere of the drama series Madam Secretary this fall, CBS announced on Tuesday. In the episode, which will air on Sunday, October 7th, the show’s protagonist Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) will turn to Clinton and two other former secretaries of state, Madeleine Albright and Colin Powell, to “ask their advice on how to respond to a delicate situation,” a press release stated. The scenes were filmed earlier this month during the first week of production for the show’s fifth season. Earlier this year, Clinton made a cameo appearance during the Grammy Awards in which she read aloud from Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury book.
I love this picture!
Tbh, I can do without Colin Powell forever. He really stabbed Hillary in the back during the email fiasco, and she never revealed that he advised her on how to evade record keeping laws although she never asked and ignored the advice. We only know because FBI released his email. This whole episode only confirmed for me what I had long suspected–Colin Powell is the ultimate CYA bureaucrat.

True, but apparently HRC isn’t holding a grudge since she knows it really wasn’t about her emails.

She also knows publicly feuding with Powell would be a losing battle since one of his many bureaucratic talents is media cultivation. Which is why the media chose to ignore the deletion of all of his emails while they eviscerated her after she produced thousands. His emails would have made for some VERY interesting reading. Besides Bob Woodward, he, no doubt, had many media correspondents. Anyway, I am happy to hold a grudge on her behalf. I do like to be helpful any way I can! 😉

Somehow, I knew when I saw the first comment that you were the official proxy grudgeholder. 🙂
