One of the most incredible things to come out of the 2016 election has been how many members of this big-hearted team have turned frustration into action.
You’re leading local campaigns and organizing protests. You’re showing up at town halls, rallies, and phone banks. You’re using your voices to support candidates who are breaking barriers and to speak out against policies that do harm instead of good.

I like being proven right as much as the next person, but I take no pleasure in yesterday’s “bombshell” that unelected, anonymous high level administration officials are, indeed, running our government. This is a gigantic violation of the constitution, yet the anonymous author of the NYT op-ed who is revealing this expects our gratitude. This is some major league gaslighting right here. And, as Leah McElrath writes, the op-ed is “a finely crafted piece of propaganda.” She, Sarah Kenzior, and Melissa McEwan are all calling this out as an attempt by right wing Republicans to gain control of the narrative and reassure voters before the midterms. This piece is not resistance. It describes complicity.
