Here’s an article from People about the Clintons’ trip to PR and a dinner out with friends.

Bill and Hillary Clinton, in Puerto Rico for hurricane recovery work, had dinner Monday with Lin-Manuel Miranda and George Clooney after seeing Hamilton
Lin-Manuel Miranda on Sunday gave his final bow for a special production of Hamilton in Puerto Rico — and Bill and Hillary Clinton were in the audience after traveling to the island this week to support their foundation’s hurricane recovery work.
The next night, a source tells PEOPLE, the trio headed to dinner at San Juan’s Cocina Abierta where they were joined by George Clooney, chef José Andrés and Miranda’s father, Luis, along with Clinton Foundation supporters.
As horrible as Puerto Ricans have had it, I would LOVE to be in Puerto Rico right now. I have been a Minnesotan for 25 years and can’t remember anything like this. My current location at work is about 20 miles sw of Minneapolis. In other words, well outside the”urban heat island”. Temperature here is now -29 degrees. Might as well go for -30. Wind chill over -50! I hope all communities in the area have plans for sheltering the homeless and those who have lost power due to the bitter cold.

Ironically, the melting of the polar ice cap due to climate change is contributing to these polar vortex episodes on the North American continent. Diminishment of ice cap allows blast of arctic air to flood south.

I don’t know how people are surviving this. It’s not that bad here. Went down to -1 last night. 12 above now.

We have made it all the way up to 2°! Looking at upper thirties over the weekend. Unfortunately, more snow and cold next week, although not quite as bad.
And then we have the governor of Kentucky claiming kids today are too “soft” because of all the school closings. This is ignorance on steroids. We no longer have child labor either. It’s called progress. If my great niece hadn’t had four days of school cancellations, I’m sure her parents would have kept her out anyway. What part of DANGEROUS don’t people understand?

It’s especially disturbing coming from an official responsible for people’s safety. Just went up to 19 here.
