I cannot let the sun set on this day without mentioning this.
Hillary’s policy plans remain online for anyone to copy. It seems silly to take offense when Democrats do it. She encourages the behavior.
Hillary Clinton: “We Are Stronger Together”

I sure don’t mind Dems copying Hillary’s plans. Have at it! What I mind is everyone (including the candidates!) pretending the plans are their own. Hillary and the campaign put a helluva lot of work into those plans. As for Trump, Trump gonna Trump.
In my last comment on the last thread, I talked about Mark Kelly running for the Senate and his great video. I should add that this was John McCain’s seat. Let’s keep it in the Navy: Full speed ahead for Arizona!

I agree with the above. However, DT is a weasel, and I don’t like a thing he does and especially when it comes to Hillary. He’s a pathetic puppet. Enough of that. I am embarrassed to have to ask for help in this post. I need help in getting my email address for StillforHIll changed from the sbcglobal.net account to Lafeblue1906@gmail.com. I would really appreciate your help with this matter. Or, point me where to go?
Thank you so much for everything.

I can’t do anything on my end, but I am guessing that you just have to sign up again for notifications or subscribe with the new address.

I think Hillary handled this situation well. BTW, I still have my Stronger Together sign from the rally she did at Wayne State University (proof that Hillary did indeed campaign in Michigan).

All of the proof that Hillary was the most qualified and best person for the presidency has been stolen from the American people. The Russians helped trump steal the election and now these gutless wonders have the balls to steal her slogan. They have no morals, principals or shame. What we are witnessing is the patriarchy in full panic mode of losing their entitlement to the lion’s share of power. They have shown that they willing to do anything to hang on to that power, even if it means destroying our country to achieve it (which when you think about it, what will they gain by doing this?).
trump and his administration is precisely why we must have more women elected into local, state and federal political office (at least half since we are, after all, over half of the population). Women have much higher standards expected of them than the men (trump is a prime example of that sad truth). These higher standards would help slow down and hopefully eliminate the corruption we are seeing run amuck in our government by the majority of men who are in power; we would see less racism because women know first hand what it’s like to be discriminated against (still are) and would not tolerate it; and there would definitely be much less sexism, although I believe this ism will take longer to eradicate than racism simply because it primarily affects women.
Anyone who doubts that the Russians did indeed steal the election in favor of trump and literally took the will of the people and threw it under the bus, take the time to watch this documentary film “Hacking Democracy”, which proved that it could be done and how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YldIdkjrqM

Still4Hill,
If you do watch the documentary, you will know (even though no one in the media or Congress wants to talk about it) without a doubt that the Russians did indeed hack the voting systems in those 3 states which gave trump the needed electoral votes. The poll data Manafort gave to the Russian intelligence official was used by the Russian hackers to know how many votes to skim off in the 3 states without raising any red flags. What the media is focused on is hacking of any other kind EXCEPT the voting machines. Why? That is the big question that needs to be answered.
Unfortunately, America takes for granted that the votes are being counted as cast. I don’t know how anyone can believe that if they see this documentary which shows an election supervisor stating unequivocally that if he hadn’t seen how it was done before he conducted a mock election on the very voting systems that he used in his elections, he would have certified them as fair and honest. THE VOTING MACHINE VENDORS ASSURE ELECTION OFFICIALS THAT THE MACHINES WOULD DETECT TAMPERING, BUT THIS DOCUMENTARY PROVES THAT THEY DON’T. What will it take to wake America up to this reality? I’m just glad I’m getting up in age and won’t have to witness the reaction of the American people when they do wake up and realize that our elections do not reflect the will of the people and haven’t for a long time because we trusted machines to count our votes.
Germany watched the documentary and the citizens rose up with the help of their computer security experts and persuaded their supreme court to ban voting systems and to go back to hand counts. Oh, the irony of the German people fighting for their democracy while we sit on the sidelines and fiddle.

It’s not really ironic. They learned the lesson first-hand. We, a young country, refuse, as youth will, learn from another’s experience, like all the immature.

Still4Hill,
Wise words you write. However, one would think that if the young can be concerned about global warming, practical gun control and better healthcare for all, then what is the giant leap necessary to understand that none of the above issues can or will be resolved in the people’s best interests if we do not have a voice in who is legally elected? Without the vote which reflects the voice and the will of the people, we have no say in the matter.
When the documentary was first released, those who saw it agreed with it but did not feel compelled to do anything about it. Many just couldn’t handle the reality that the greatest democracy in the world would ever lose it. Abraham Lincoln warned us that America would not be defeated from the outside but from the inside. Sadly, he was right and we are witnessing it.

That is exactly what I meant. I mean the country itself is young and has spent 242 years being on the ascent. No one wants to believe it can suddenly be in free fall or that free fall can even happen. That is something that happens to other countries.

Still4Hill,
The hard part is watching our country go down even though the evidence is right there in front of us that our voices have been silenced by machines. In order to exist and not be an ILLUSION, democracy must be protected and fought for when it’s under attack. We’re not only young, but lazy when it comes to guarding and protecting our democracy. No country is “entitled” to a democracy of, for and by the people. The people are the rightful stewards of our democracy but t’s been abdicated by the people to those in power who have betrayed us. We will need another revolutionary war to take it back but I fear too many Americans have become addicted to reality shows, game shows and sports events to notice. Just because we are a young country doesn’t mean we have to be stupid as well.
