Die-hard theater fan Hillary Clinton is continuing to work through all New York has to offer at the moment. On Thursday night, Clinton showed up at the Off Broadway play Gloria: A Life, alongside her friend activist Jill Iscol, to two standing ovations from the crowd, according to a source. The play’s prolific producer Daryl Roth, as well as Gloria Steinem, its subject, were also in attendance. Completing the collection of accomplished women was designer Diane von Furstenberg ….

Just a personal note from me:  She always shines in these interviews and did so again today. I particularly liked this interviewer. There was something very simpatico about him. I liked his organization of the questions. Very pleasant. She was at ease. It was all around a nice atmosphere.

Hillary Clinton’s Channel 12 Interview

Posted in 2020 Election, Hillary Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Uncategorized, tagged 2020 Election, Hillary Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton on March 5, 2019| 5 Comments »

She has said it many times off camera. I don’t know how many times she needs to say it before people believe her. My main issue with people not believing her is that they are calling her a liar. Hillary Clinton is not a liar! Get off Hillary’s porch if that is what you are implying! (And yes, when you say, “she can change her mind,” that is exactly what you are implying. You are saying Hillary is coy. She is not. You are saying Hillary plays games. She does not!)

She has made up her mind. She has made her decision. Start listening to the vast field of candidates who are actually running. If you refuse, you are playing straight into Russia’s hand.

This is her plan. Grow up and deal with it.

‘I’m not running’: Hillary Clinton rules out 2020 bid for first time on camera in exclusive interview with News 12

NEW YORK –
3 minutes

Hillary Clinton ruled out a 2020 presidential run for the first time on camera in an exclusive interview with News 12, pledging instead to take an active role by working with the candidates in the crowded Democratic field.

“I’m not running, but I’m going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe,” she told News 12‘s Tara Rosenblum.

In her first local TV interview since the midterm elections, the former first lady and secretary of state opened up about 2016, 2020 and beyond. She expressed deep concerns about the state of American politics today — and vowed to be vocal about those concerns.

“I want to be sure that people understand I’m going to keep speaking out,” Clinton said. “I’m not going anywhere. What’s at stake in our country, the kind of things that are happening right now are deeply troubling to me. And I’m also thinking hard about how do we start talking and listening to each other again? We’ve just gotten so polarized. We’ve gotten into really opposing camps unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my adult life.”

Read more and watch the entire exclusive interview>>>>

This came up as a result of a discussion on a Hillary Facebook site. I realized after I wrote it that this is my nugget. This is what I know and believe.
” In the end, it is a question of morals. Either we stand together against human rights abuses or we are complicit. This is not about personalities. It is not about Hillary, Bernie, or Individual-1. In 20-30 years it will be about whether or not we stood against this regime. It will not be about whether we insisted that Hillary Clinton run. Chose your standard wisely.” – me

Congratulations, Mme. Secretary!

Back in Selma, Alabama this morning to kick off the #SelmaJubilee. Lots of events throughout the day. Tune into the Unity Breakfast where I’ll talk about the fight for voting rights & how it must be central to a 21st century civil rights movement.https://t.co/mo5QbiNznr

Former Senator Hillary Clinton honored at Martin and Coretta King Unity Breakfast – The Selma Times‑Journal

By James Jones
3-4 minutes

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton highlighted the Martin and Coretta King Unity Breakfast on Sunday at Wallace Community College-Selma.

Clinton received the 2019 International Unity Award and was inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame by former Senator Hank Sanders and his wife, Rose Sanders.

“Women have a hard time when they seek position of power and fight for women’s rights,” Hank Sanders said. “She had to fight to become a Senator and fight to become Secretary of State.”

The capacity crowd in WCCS Gymnasium gave a thunderous standing ovation for Clinton, a former U.S. Presidential candidate in the Democrat party. The former First Lady connected the two honors.

“The two honors go hand in hand,” Clinton said. “The fight for Civil Rights, Women’s Rights and human Rights have been the driving force of my career. I’m humbled and honored to receive the award.”
