On Tuesday, Bill, 73, and Hillary, 71, were spotted at hot new mentalist act “Derren Brown: Secret” at the Cort Theatre.
The power couple — who just celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary — was joined by daughter Chelsea, her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller.

I went out last night as well. (Amanda the Michigander is now a senior in high school and sang a solo in her school concert.) I did catch some of the debate when I got home, but I just wasn’t feeling it. Too many people on the stage.

I haven’t seen one entire “debate” yet. Not only too many candidates, but none of them are Hillary, either figuratively or literally. I mean some are okay but I haven’t detected presidential material in any just yet. I will support the ultimate nominee, but it’s just not the same. 😔

RIP Elijah Cummings. Remember how he had HRC’S back during the Benghazi show trial? I always will.

It’s pheasant season here in Minnesota. We used to have a black lab that could flush pheasants all day this time of year, even though we didn’t hunt. All you had to do was take her for a walk in the woods, and she would soon have the sky filled with pheasants.
I was reminded of this yesterday when Hillary effortlessly filled the sky with Russian assets. It was really quite spectacular. But lost in the kerfuffle was her main point. Trump needs a third party candidate on the left to siphon votes from the Dem candidate or he is toast. And she made it clear she will call out ANYONE who appears to be going there, preempting the move by putting them on the defensive. She will be attacked and mocked for this. She totally DOES NOT CARE! Ratf***ers beware!

2020 Dems who choose to die on the Tulsi Gabbard hill are too dangerously stupid to ever be commander in chief. They give new meaning to the term “useful idiot”. Just last night when asked by a reporter, Gabbard seemed to acknowledge that the Russians favor her, and yet, she tied herself in knots to avoid disavowing their support. No, Pete Buttigieg, this is NOT a mere “foreign policy difference”. She is literally spewing Russian talking points and denying that they have committed genocide and war crimes in Syria. That is not something to disagree with; that is something to condemn and challenge in the strongest terms possible. So many of these candidates are eliminating themselves from consideration that there may not be any left to vote for. They are literally acting like Russia never attacked the 2016 election and certainly wouldn’t attack us again in 2020. It’s unbelievable.

As Tom Watson said, with his tweets this morning, Trump has proudly announced that he, Gabbard, and Jill Stein all play on the same team. The only good thing about Trump is that he always inadvertently confesses his crimes.

Brassy,
Great posts and right on target.
I’m sure you noticed that Hillary was exonerated after 4-1/2 years of investigations into her “damn e-mails” by a trump state department. Where are all of the apologies for the horrid coverage by the media over a matter that had no basis in fact of any wrongdoing!
There is one ray of sunlight, albeit, not big enough to shine a light on the gross injustice done to this woman, as we hear crickets from the media in general. However, finally, finally, ONE journalist, who was part of the media frenzy attacking Hillary everyday over those e-mails (while glossing over the fact that both Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice used private email servers during their time at the State Department, as did Clinton’s successor John Kerry, not to mention Ivanka Trump, Jared Kuschner (lock them up!!), has done the right thing and owned up to how wrong the media was – Rachel Maddow gave the story the coverage it deserved (and it’s still not enough). Here’s a video of that show which really puts in perspective what happened in 2016 and what’s going to happen again in 2020 if the media keeps acting like they are an arm of the Russian government, instead of the fourth estate they were meant to be:
Everyone also ignores that because of this Clinton Derangement syndrome displayed by the media, republicans, (and some democrats), the Bernie bros and of course, the Russian bots, while giving trump a free pass throughout that campaign, the presidency, which was rightfully hers, was stolen. I can’t imagine any man being expected to sit quietly by and accept this gross injustice without protest. What was lost was not only the presidency to Hillary, but her wise and good leadership to the American people who had chosen her to be their president.
I will never get over it.

Thank you, Wynne, I bookmarked the Maddow vid the other day but haven’t had time to watch yet. All the faux outrage over Hillary supposedly endangering national security with her (unhacked) server was really shown to be total 🐂💩 yesterday when Matt Goetz and his band of thugs invaded the SCIF where the House Intel committee was conducting an impeachment hearing. They brought unsecure phones inside, a major breach of security. And tweeted and phoned out! You are correct never to get over it.

I would like to repeat my earlier comment that any 2020 Dem candidate who defended Tulsi Gabbard (and it’s a disturbingly long list) is too dangerously stupid to be commander in chief in light of the most recent developments concerning her.

Brassy,
I totally agree with your assessment of those defending Gabbard! Anyone, and not just Gabbard, who will sell their soul to gain power, should never be given power over the people.
My question is “what will it take for those Americans who still believe trump deserves a second term to wake up and see the evil he embodies?” I feel like we are living in the time when Hitler rose to power and the blind loyalty of the German people gave him that power. Left unchecked, we all know the horrific tragedy which occurred in Germany because of that willful blindness to evil. At least those of us who oppose trump and saw him for who he really was when he came down that escalator can take comfort that when the day comes that we “will be dancing with the angels” (ala Congressman Elijah Cummings) had we lived during that awful period of history, we would not have been one of followers! It’s not only about who you follow, but who you DON”T follow that is a measure of who you are.
I pray that everyone who still believes in America and keep our democracy intact will get out and vote in droves all over the country and take NOTHING for granted. The Russians will be working very hard to bring their puppet back to serve putin and we MUST not let that happen.
