Not only was this deed good for the hospital staff, it was a nice boost for Mr. Nick’s.
Doctors and nurses on the front lines of the battle against coronavirus are facing unprecedented challenges. Some hospitals, especially in New York, are overwhelmed with patients, and hospital staffs are working tirelessly — sometimes without the proper protective equipment. On Thursday, one hospital in the area received a meaningful thank-you gesture from some famous New York residents. “Amazing !!! I am an ER doctor at Dobbs Ferry NY and just received pizza from the Clintons,” tweeted Dr. Angela Cirilli, who works at St. John’s Riverside Hospital and Dobbs Ferry Emergency Medicine in Westchester County.
“Thank you !!!! We NEED LEADERS LIKE YOU in this tough time. So much gratitude I didn’t know how else to reach you to say thank you – Angela cirilli, MD,” her tweet continued.
Just saw a tweet from a guy who says, “I really regret not voting for her.” Apparently, he voted third party and speculates that there are “millions” just like him who thought, “How bad can it be?” He goes on to answer his own question, “Apocalyptic, it turns out.” I don’t know if I can ever find it in my heart to forgive people like this even when they humbly admit error as this dude does. So many unnecessary deaths, so much suffering. It is really too late for “regret”. This can never be made right. And God bless Hillary and Bill Clinton. Forever!

You’re right, this can’t be made right. Too many deaths. But I’d be willing to accept an apology if he is willing to help defeat Trump.

“If we can keep the death toll to 100,000, that means we did a good job.” This monster is a sociopath. Millions of people literally voted for a sociopath. Millions more refused to vote for the candidate who wasn’t a sociopath even though everyone knew only those two had a chance to become president. Facts are stubborn things.

If I had to give the simplest definition of misogyny, it would be this: when people talk about Joe Biden, they always start out by describing him as “good and decent” or having a “good heart”; when people talk about Hillary, they usually describe her as “not perfect” or “flawed”. I have observed this dynamic for over a year now, and it is enraging. Misogyny is so deeply embedded in our culture and how people think and act I sometimes despair that we will ever eradicate it totally.
