To cap off a tumultuous day wherein AG Barr stonewalled many incisive questions from Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Hillary Clinton paid a visit to Rachel Maddow. Here are a few snippets.

Here is a synopsis from CNN. (Nice sign that the free media is inter-cooperative.)

… and how you can join in, too.

After the 2020 census, state legislatures will redraw district lines across all fifty states. We only have to look at the way those lines have shifted over the last few decades to infer that Republicans will feel comfortable using the redistricting progress to disenfranchise voters and ensure GOP majorities for the next decade.

Gerrymandering is a critical issue, and one that should define the 2020 election. I wasn’t at all surprised to learn that three of our Onward Together partner organizations have put their heads together and come up with a plan to ensure that Democrats win key elections next fall.

This week, our partners at Swing Left, Run for Something, and Arena launched the Grassroots Redistricting Project. They’re targeting legislative chambers in nine states to ensure that Democrats have a fair say in the redistricting process, but they’ll need the power of this team to make it happen.

Today, sign up to learn more about how you can get involved in the Grassroots Redistricting Project:

I’m so proud of everyone taking part in this fight.

For Immediate Release: April 28, 2019
Statement from President Clinton and Secretary Clinton on the passing of Dick Lugar

Hillary and I are saddened by the passing of Senator Dick Lugar. He was a man of great decency who was widely respected on both sides of the aisle for his vast policy knowledge, especially on foreign affairs, and his commitment to bipartisan solutions. His decades-long work on nuclear nonproliferation, as well as his belief in robust foreign aid, made America and the world safer and stronger. Hillary was proud to serve alongside him in the Senate, and I will always be grateful to have worked with him as President on implementing the Nunn-Lugar Act to reduce nuclear weapons after the end of the Cold War, and passing the African Growth and Opportunity Act. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
