Hillary Clinton Town Hall in Orangeburg, South Carolina

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaks at a town hall meeting at Clafin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The South Carolina Legislative Black Caucus hosts the event which will be moderated by TV host Roland Martin.

It was an hour and fifteen minutes of broad and rapid-fire questions from the host and audience members. Hillary never stumbles and never is stumped.  She has substantive responses to everything.  It was especially gratifying to hear that she has a grip on what has gone wrong with the charter schools.  The original idea was that the ones that worked would serve as models for ways to improve public schools.  Instead, the good ones have become elite schools while neighborhood schools stagnate with insufficient resources and funds.
