She is correct, of course.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Hillary Clinton is imploring Minnesota Democrats to get out and vote in the 2020 election because the presidential race is shaping up to be “very, very close.”

The former secretary of state and presidential candidate and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, made a stop in Minneapolis Thursday night to promote their new book “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience.”

Clinton says her narrow margin of victory over Donald Trump in Minnesota in 2016 has the president and his supporters focused on flipping the state next year. She says Minnesotans should “start right now thinking about how to reach out and talk to people” to make the case for a change in the White House.

The power couple — who just celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary — was joined by daughter Chelsea, her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller.

Onward Together!

Last month, I joined our friends at the Albert Shanker Institute and the American Federation of Teachers for a conference on the ways we can protect and defend American democracy. In my opening remarks, I spoke about the risks that voter suppression, fake news, and a lack of election security pose to our country’s very foundation.

The founders of four Onward Together partner and grantee organizations also joined the conference as panelists that day: Eric Holder of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, Andrew Gillum of Forward Florida, Leah Greenberg of Indivisible, and María Teresa Kumar of Voto Latino.

Watch what we had to say here.

Meanwhile, it’s a busy time for all of the groups we work with. Our friends at Run for Something Action Fund have just launched WhereCanIRun.org, an all-new site that helps potential candidates decide where, how, and when to run for office. Dream Big Nevada, one of our grantee organizations, is raising money to cover DACA renewal fees for eligible young people — and you can contribute today.

As always, I’m grateful to have you on this team.

Onward!

Hillary

At the Eleanor Roosevelt Memorial in Manhattan, Hillary Rodham Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, look upon a 20th-century giant. “I think she was one of the greatest Americans in our history,” Hillary told “Sunday Morning” host Jane Pauley.

“She is a kind of transcendent figure over generations because of all that she did in her life,” Chelsea said.

Hillary added, “I just find that depiction of her to be as I imagine her – thoughtfully listening, taking it all in.”

And at the New York Historical Society, they handled a racquet from the hands of tennis legend Billie Jean King. And they examined a century-old banner from the Women’s Suffrage Movement. “I have one of these at my home,” Hillary said. “I have it over the fireplace; I look at it every day.”

The mementos breathe life into a collection of stories called “The Book of Gutsy Women,” co-authored by mother and daughter, and published by CBS’ Simon & Schuster.

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday joined the rising chorus of Democrats calling for at least an impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump following reports that Trump pressured Ukraine’s government to look into unsubstantiated theories about the family of his leading 2020 challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden.

Clinton, a sharp critic of Trump since narrowly losing to him in the 2016 presidential election, made the impassioned call during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE set to be published in next week’s issue.

“We are in a crisis,” Clinton said.

She told PEOPLE she was now supporting Trump’s impeachment. “I did not come to that decision easily or quickly,” she said, “but this is an emergency as I see it. … This latest behavior around Ukraine, trying to enlist the president of Ukraine in a plot to undermine former Vice President Biden or lose the military aid he needs to defend against Trump’s friend Vladimir Putin — if that’s not an impeachable offense, I don’t know what is.”

Please help us help the victims by giving a huge donation to Clinton Foundation Today. We rebuilt Haiti and we’ll rebuild Nassau and Orlando.” It was from a parody account with the moniker @MadamPresident to dupe users. Clinton’s real account is @HillaryClinton.
