While the Republicans were gathering for their debate tonight, Hillary had her own gathering in Portsmouth with intros from Al Franken, Maggie Hassan, and Jeanne Shaheen. The jury is still out on which gathering called Hillary’s name most often.

On the 20th anniversary of her Beijing speech, Hillary launched her Women for Hillaryinitiative in Portsmouth NH and received Jeanne Shaheen’s endorsement.
On the 20th anniversary of her historic Beijing speech, Hillary Clinton launched her Women for Hillaryinitiative in Portsmouth NH under a sunny sky. Beside her and endorsing her was Senator Jeanne Shaheen. After addressing the rally, Hillary met with the press. Worth noting: Hillary is always being accused of dodging the press and the questions.
I do not know to whom she was responding, but at one point she told someone, “Come on. Ask the question you want to.” That’s our girl! We love you, Hillary! We know you would never do this, but just once, when these questions come up, we would love to see you do a Donald and say, “But they LOVE me!!!!” We do! ❤

Next stop, a reception for New Hampshire Organized Labor Community and Allies also in Manchester.
Hillary Clinton stepped into the mid-term arena in early September via fundraisers, one at her D.C. home and another in New York for a list of local candidates. September 30 events were canceled due to the birth of her first grandchild, Charlotte. These included fundraisers in D.C., one for Maryland gubernatorial candidate Anthony Brown and another for New Hampshire state Senator Lou D’Allesandro. She was in Maryland on Thursday for Brown. Today, her final official day on the stump, she visited New Hampshire where D’Allesandro caught up with her and presented her with a baby blanket for Charlotte.
Her rounds began at a rally for Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Governor Maggie Hassan in Nashua. The three then surprised diners at a popular restaurant, The Puritan Backroom in Manchester, where they had lunch. Finally they headed to Dover where they stopped at The Farm Bar and Grill.
Hillary stuck close to home today to appear at a “Women for Maloney” event in Somers, NY. Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney is defending his seat against Nan Hayworth in New York’s 18th congressional district. Hillary’s remarks included clarification of comments she made in Boston at a Martha Coakley rally on Friday which were taken out of context by many.
This week, Hillary will be heading to campaign events in Iowa for Bruce Braley, New Hampshire for Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan, and will return to Kentucky for Alison Lundergan Grimes. On Thursday, she will return to Georgetown University to speak about Women’s Economic Participation.

@U.S. Senate: Time to ratify LOST!
"... ratify the Law of the Sea Convention, which has provided the international framework for exploring these new opportunities in the Arctic. We abide by the international law that undergirds the convention, but we think the United States should be a member, because the convention sets down the rules of the road that protect freedom of navigation, provide maritime security, serve the interests of every nation that relies on sea lanes for commerce and trade, and also sets the framework for exploration for the natural resources that may be present in the Arctic." -HRC, 06-03-12, Tromso Norway
"I deeply resent those who attack our country, the generosity of our people and the leadership of our president in trying to respond to historically disastrous conditions after the earthquake." - HRC 01-26-10
