She would NEVER have allowed social safety nets to be "on the table."
"... ratify the Law of the Sea Convention, which has provided the international framework for exploring these new opportunities in the Arctic. We abide by the international law that undergirds the convention, but we think the United States should be a member, because the convention sets down the rules of the road that protect freedom of navigation, provide maritime security, serve the interests of every nation that relies on sea lanes for commerce and trade, and also sets the framework for exploration for the natural resources that may be present in the Arctic." -HRC, 06-03-12, Tromso Norway

Associated Press has declared her the nominee. Hopefully people still get out and vote tomorrow.
@maddow also retweeted that Bernie got a call from the White House yesterday and went from cheery and riding carousels to all quiet and huddling with his wife. It is believed Obama is going to start openly campaigning against Trump and for Hillary.

To think that we are on the brink of something so historic… The AP has said so, but for me it will really sink in tmrw when the polls close/gives her speech. I was so disappointed in ’08 and to see Hillary come back strong now…I’m pretty sure I will cry tmrw!
As for Obama’s call: “..went from cheery and riding carousels” lolol your description is hilarious! 👏

Lol, it was mentioned he was riding a carousel at the pier with his grandkids. But I am going with that now: “Everything was cheery and carousel rides”
@kasie: Bernie Sanders was scheduled to take a call from the White House on Sunday as he sprinted through California
@kasie: The motorcade had to be pulled to the side of the road in California for Sanders to take the call
@kasie: The day was outwardly cheerful: Mobbed by fans on the Santa Monica pier, Sanders rode the carousel there with his grandchildren
@kasie: But whatever message President Obama delivered, it wasn’t cheerful for the Sanders campaign: The mood soured, and he huddled with wife Jane

I’m not sure what Bernie thought was going to happen. Did he just assume Obama was going to sit on the sidelines forever? Of course he was going to endorse Hillary and campaign for her once she clinched.

I remember 2008 and I know I will cry. My dream for her to be the nominee is so moving to me and all of us. God Bless Hillary and God Speed.
