     I think that the glasses are due to her head injury. Notice how she also hasn’t worn any eye make-up since her illness.

       I agree. Hard to do eye makeup without contacts. Also she is sticking to flats. I am sure all of that is Drs.’ orders.

           Rumana’s niece also has a concussion and she is not wearing her contacts either. I am pretty sure it’s the potential vision and headache issues with a concussion.

   Did they get the biggest applause?
   I thought Hillary will wore contacts – not that I have anything against glasses, She looks good in it, and thought will wear high(er) heels shoes.

     What Still said. She can’t do the frilly stuff until she’s fully recovered. There are a LOT of steps at the Capitol. God forbid she tripped in her usual kitten heel and fell again.

     Really? I didn’t see much of her, except when Schumer thanked her for the loan of the painting that was behind him at the lectern. It belongs ot the State Dept.

     Me too!!! Heck, I would have been there. Even if it meant freezing outside for hours. Hopefully, we get to do it in 2017. No pressure, like she always says about Chelsea giving them gradchildren. LOL!!!

    Thanks, Still. I only watched the part of inauguration where I thought I would see Hillary and Bill.

    Then, I turned off the tv, went for a bike ride and continued reading Sonia Sotomayor’s book.

    I’ve been home all day cooking and cleaning. It’s cold around here. I took a peek at the TV only when I knew the Clintons were going to be in the shot. Missed the swearing in and the speech.

    As a glasses wearer, I think Hillary makes the newest look smart, classy, nerdy-cool and stylish. Doesn’t matter if it is doctor’s orders along with the flats or not. She is doing Hillary! More independent, forward-thinking women should emulate.
