Listen to her reasoning. Keep this speech. Bookmark it. Thanks to Sophie we still have this video since the government scrubbed all of her Senate speeches at the Senate website as soon as she resigned. This is why she voted as she did. These were her parameters for the president. This was not a simple vote. Long, hard work went into the decision. I agreed with her conclusions and supported her vote that day. This was her reasoning.
Since they are looking at what we post, it would have been nice of the government to have provided access to her Senate speeches after she resigned. Unlike the State Department, the Senate does not provide video archives. Thank God for Youtube , Sophie and Karen who found the second part of the speech!

Love it. That is the first 10 minutes and it ends abruptly in the middle (as well as starting in the middle of a sentence – all copies seem to do that).
This is part 2 that begins around the time of the line about the “ethnic cleansing of Albanians”.
This is the clincher – “a world united in sharing the risk” “I will take the President at his word” – two factors she counted on that didn’t work out well!

Have to laugh at this Hill piece on our favorite woman. She is looming large and they are all scared to bits of her. Love that she commands instant respect as well as fear. Wussies. lol.

If you mean the CBS story on the State memo, we’ll have to wait and see exactly what that is all about. The Dept said “not all allegations are substantiated” and once again those issues are not things the SoS deals with. It is handled below the SoS level. She wasn’t responsible for the investigations into any of her 70,000 staff – unless it is shown they worked with her and she was aware of what they were doing – If the allegations against them were real.
It could be similar to the SS prostitute situation going on right before the POTUS arrived in Cartagena.
It is getting pretty strange how many “leaks” are all coming out at once, eh?

Yeah we will have to see they say those with prostitue were her security detail I actually wonder if they were doing that at the time she was with them or if it was like the situation going on before the president visited cartagena. Very strange indeed about the “leaks”

There are people out to tarnish her DOS legacy any way they can. I am preparing to cover an event on Wednesday related to her final Africa tour as DOS and decided to print out that section of the archives. It took almost a ream of paper. It was one day short of a two-week trip. That is how much work she packed into a 13-day trip.

Thank you Karen and Still, this proves that a lot of people does not watch C-span because if they did they would know this. The only media that this country has is C-span. C-span also showed every Democratic Primary in ’08 that Madam President Hillary Clinton won by a landslide, we won every single one of them.
Where was Barack Obama? In Chicago. Barack Obama has never done anything, as you women know, the people was not about to vote for him in ’08 because they knew nothing about him and he had a empty resume.
We the People knew who we was voting for by a landslide and it was Madam President Hillary Clinton.
Thanks.
