If you have been around here long enough, you will remember former California Rep Ellen Tauscher’s service as an undersecretary in Hillary’s State Department. She was a key figure in the development of the New START, and an early endorser of Ready for Hillary.
This is very sad. She did a great job at State and was always helpful to HRC. May she rest in peace.

Yesterday, when Biden’s polling bounce was apparent, it was reported that a lot of his voters don’t think he should be faulted for mistakes he made b4 2009 when he became Obama’s vice president. You know, the same standard Hillary was held to in 2016–nothing counts b4 she became SOS. Actually, this does make perfect sense for Biden since in 2016 Hillary was the one blamed for all his faults b4 2009. This white patriarchy thing is a hell of a good deal for the white patriarchs. And if you are a female Democrat supporting Biden as “most electable” after all the crap Hillary fought thru in 2016, that is your right. But do stop calling yourself a feminist. Please and thank you.

Me to news media: Kamala Harris proved today we have women running for president who are waaay better than any of the “B” candidates. Cover them!

Brassy,
Yes, the patriarchy’s willingness to give Joe a pass on the many mistakes he has made throughout his political career, while Hillary was lambasted by the media over the 1994 Crime Bill which Biden wrote and she was First Lady and had nothing to do with it! Talk about double standard. But this is how the patriarchy reacts when they are faced with numerous women who have put them to shame on policy and gravitas. They are scared.
I loved Senators Harris and Hirono today. They really put Barr back on his heels. I only wish Elizabeth Warren were on that committee! These women put the dem men on the committee to shame with their willingness to push back at Barr’s bullshit answers
Before any debates have taken place, the press has already anointed biden (something they criticized Hillary for in 2016, even though she received the most endorsements and won more primaries (not caucuses masquerading as primaries by the sanders bros). I will work my heart out for which ever of the women running rises to the top. I have no intention of falling for the male clap trap that biden is the best person to beat trump.
I agree that any woman who immediately supports biden should not call herself a feminist. These women are falling back on an age old conditioning that only a man can win the presidency, even one as flawed as biden.
